HELLO...
...and welcome to Skyeline Technologies, a combination of theatre and photography by Shannon Nickerson. I am orginally from just south of Cleveland, OH where my family still lives. I got my under graduate degree at Bowling Green State University and then moved off to Northern California (Eureka area) where I spent a year playing in the redwoods and making theatre. After that I headed back across the country for an MFA in Production and Technology Management at Carnegie Mellon University.

After achieving my MFA I re-located to sunny Los Angeles where I had the pleasure of working for Center Theatre Group. I spent my free time running off to the mountains or the beach with my camera and opening up a door to that side of my life. One of the great things about the location was being so close to so many places to go hiking.

However, after having enough with year round sun, I decided I missed having seasons and weather in my life and back to the Mid-West and I now reside in the Chicago, IL area. I currently work as a Project Manager for an entertainment rigging company. Ultimately I am looking to be in a position where I can teach university students and help them learn how to create the magic backstage.
